Andrew Vogt

Andy Vogt works for Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-TN) as a health professional staff member on the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP). In that capacity, he advises the Senator on public health issues related to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Before joining the HELP Committee staff, Andy served as a legislative assistant to Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL). He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Marquette University.
